Week***5 # 12 Library Elf

It's a service that offers me email alerts and even an RSS feed when my reserved library books are ready for me, and reminders when the books I have are due back; it tells me if I have fines.

Library ELF is great for families or anyone else who would like reminders before an item is due.

Week***5 # 11 Library Thing

I've been quite happy to spend time cataloguing my own books with the help of Library Thing. It is handy since you can enter just the ISBN or title or author and it will find anything that matches in one of a large selection of sources. I know that my tastes are somewhat idiosyncratic, but I was still a bit surprised at how few people have some of my favorites.

Week ***5 # 10 Avatars and image generators

I love image generators, there are funny and you can play with. I like to change my look most of the time , in this way you can express yourself.

For this picture I used Reflection Generator, uploding the picture from the hard drive. I set the reflection size and the background color.

Week***4 # 9 Finding Feeds

Bloglines let you create a custom blog (hosted on Bloglines) to store and share your clippings and favorites. Today I subscribe for few more feeds and now will be easy to find what I want, very fast. I already have around 15 feeds and this is just the beginning. I create a Bloglines link on my blog and when I want to see my favorite website just click on and this is it...

Week***4 # 8 Make Life "really simple" with RSS and a newsreader

I found this very interesting and I will take a look every day to see what is new. It was kind of hard to get in and understand what I have to do, but finally I made it.
