Ancient Sea Scorpion Was Bigger than Man

Scientists have uncovered the fossilized claw of a 390 million year old sea scorpion in a German quarry. They estimate that the cannibalistic creature, which has been named Jaekelopterus rhenaniae, was nearly 8 ft (2.5 m) long, making it at least 1.5 ft (46 cm) longer than any previously known eurypterid, or prehistoric sea scorpion. While fossil record has long shown that ancient arthropods were much bigger than they are now, this discovery suggests that prehistoric spiders, insects, and crabs were significantly larger than previously thought.

Week***10 # 23 Is this really the end?

That was awesome!!!
Overall I learned a lot about technology and not just. I had a lot of fun when I had to choose my Meez or when I created my first flikr badge. Easy to create but after that, hard to transfer to our blog. But now we have experience...and we are video producers :)... Without knowing we create a connection between us and it was so nice. Before I didn't now about Blogliness, Library Thing or Library Elf. The last two are very helpful and I think everybody should open an account. Anyway, special thanks for those people who create this, because for me personal it was a good lesson.

Week***9 # 22 Downladable Media

I took a look on Over Drive, the collection is not that big but is something. I like Wowio because it's free, bur I don't think I will download books very soon. About Librivox,I found this very interesting: "is a digital library of free public domain audio books, read by volunteers".

Week 9 # 21 Podcasts and Smodcasts

A podcast is basically an audio or video file that can be downloaded and listened to over the web on a computer or downloaded to a mp3 player. The Internet coupled with personal technology like iPods and MP3 players have empowered everyone with a new voice while redefining what "Radio" is in the 2000s from both a technical and distribution sense. Although I love traditional Radio, I'm also willing to embrace new paradigms.

Week 8 # 19 Web - based App

Zoho Writer is by far the best browser based word processing software available.  It features auto-save, email support and the one no one else has: a spell checker.

Week*** 8 # 18 Social Networking

Today Social Networking are fantastic, typically a social network is a service that allows you to keep track of your friends, family, and business relationship .I started a list of all the Social Networking Applications and I found Ning very interesting.I open an account and it was easy to sign up. Ning is in contrast to MySpace/Facebook where the primary orientation is around personal profiles — which are harder to advertise against than topics or locations.
And because I am a cat lover I couldn't resist to take look at catster.com. It is fantastic...
